BIM stands for Building Information Modeling.

It is a methodology based on intelligent modelling that contains the information needed to plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructure.

It establishes mechanisms that enable open collaboration between all participants in a project such as the architect, consultants, contractors and clients.
